Glad World Media & What now?
Check out the FIRST CUT of the “Oscar” video. Oscar’s tribal community is considered an “un-reached” people group, and they reside within an armed-conflict zone. Today, because of Oscar and the LYE partners, the community is getting access to education, medical interventions, and is shifting from a culture of blood-shed to a culture of peace. They are hearing and experiencing the gospel message, and there are less children being recruited by insurgents. We are honored and privileged to have had the opportunity to interview Oscar, and we are honored to share this story with you.
We are working with the Hills and Marcus Young, author of the book Love Your Enemy and a pioneer of NGO work serving children in armed conflict zones, to discern the best strategy on how to get this story (and others like it) out there. Please pray with us that God gives us His divine strategy as we long for these stories to have the impact that God desires. We know that power is released in the testimony, and we are praying that God moves hearts and minds through these stories in significant and meaningful ways.
Next we will move into the post-production of the last two LYE videos that we shot this year: Zoe’s story, and the LYE promo.
Where in the World are the Colegrove’s?!
For the time being we have landed in Sonoma, CA. After spending seven years in Mexico, then 4 months in Thailand, we are back for a stint in the States. We’ll be living with Sarah’s parents as we work to build our Video Production Company and discern what God has for us next. We would love prayers as we navigate this next season! We are believing that God has us, even if we don’t know exactly what it will look like.
Glad World Media
We are in the process of launching a media ministry called, “Glad World Media.” Together, with Joel and Laci Hill, we are mapping out the exact mission and vision and how it would be executed but the heart behind Glad World Media would be a media company that exists to articulate the person of Jesus and his kingdom from our perspective. Through various forms of media such as Documentary video, Teachings, Photojournalism, Written testimonies, and Podcasts. Just as the disciples captured the stories of Jesus from their perspectives and have changed our reality and our world for centuries, our heart is to capture stories of Jesus that not only equips the body of Christ but could changes the course of history for generations to come.
