Romania and Beyond!

This summer, we did our first big time-zone travel as a family. We went to Romania for 10 days with The Mission, and on the way back we spent a week in Northern Ireland visiting friends as vacation. Both were incredible!

GROUPS

Summer around here is known as “group season.” One of the ways that The Mission is funded is by hosting groups from churches and/or other organizations. Profit made from these groups goes right back into supporting the ministry. The biggest group by far comes through The Mission’s partnership with Jesus Culture. We made the video above to promote next year’s Jesus Culture Missions Experiences in Mexico and Romania.

Fun Fact: This year to date, we’ve hosted over 1,300 people in groups that have brought in over $300,000 to The Mission!

Video Project: Bethel Open Heaven’s Conference

We worked together with Bethel Church’s newest videographer to help tell the story of what the Mission is doing in Romania. The Johnson’s believe in what the Horner’s are doing are excited to invite the participants of the Open Heaven’s conference to come alongside them as well.  The Mission still needs to raise around $616,000 to finish purchasing the building in Romania, and our prayer is that this video when showed at the conference will be one of the main tools that helps make that happen.

We’ll be sure to share this video with you when it’s finished and ready to be released!

Education in Romania

The Mission is bringing education, food, clothes, and other practical recourses to kids like these in gypsy villages. While we were in Romania, Sarah helped the mission launch the very first English school in the town!

Ireland

After Romania we decided to visit some friends of ours in beautiful Northern Ireland. Wow! This was one of our first ever family vacations, and it was truly amazing. Our hearts were so full and alive as we explored ancient castles, crazy beautiful coastlines, enjoyed delicious coffee and most of all shared good family times with our good friends, the Henderson’s. We can’t wait to go back!
