Wow, are we really once more around the sun since this pandemic began?!
Church has finally started to open up to the public here but we continue to film and post them online as there are some that still are not able to make it. Since last March, we have now filmed and edited over 130 church videos totaling over 75 hours! It’s been really cool to see our church family back worshiping together in person but also to hear how having church available online has helped them to feel connected, supported and hopeful during this past year. It really is an honor to see that impact and have been apart of it!

After a long year of Covid shut down, we finally got the green light to do one of our FAVORITE things: tell beautiful stories!!
This video has been filmed and the finishing touches are being put together with the creative team here. We can’t wait to share this heart-moving story of redemption…Erika came to the mission when she was a young girl with her three siblings. Her mom was a prostitute, and they all lived in a 10’x10’ “house.” Needless to say, their living conditions were awful. While in The Mission community, Erika experienced the love of God and family. Erika is in her 20s now, full of life, love, and she is on staff here at The Mission! She is passionate about creating a safe place at The Mission for kids who have stories just like hers to come and experience that same transforming love.

I think they call it “nesting.” With less than 7 weeks to our due date, we’ve been getting ready for the arrival of this beautiful soul. Can’t wait to welcome her soon!
